In many of today’s societies around the world, men are becoming just as interested in body hair removal as women are. These days men are choosing to remove body hair from their backs, chests, armpits, pubic regions and some men are even removing the hair from their legs.

The hairy male body look of the past is not as sexy and appealing as it used to be. When asked, more women these days do prefer a well groomed male over a not so well groomed one and that more often than not means hair removed on more areas than just the face alone.

Some men prefer to just trim or shave the hair on some parts of their bodies instead of completely removing it everywhere, while other are going for the totally shaved look all over their bodies.

It’s really a matter of preference for males and their partners. This most definitely is a personal choice and something for men to consider when choosing the tools they will be using for their body hair removal.

If you are looking to just trim some of the hair on parts of your body you will need a good hair trimmer. Many men opt for this choice because they and their partners don’t like the feel of the five o’clock shadow that can occur if the shaving is not done on a daily basis. A nice smooth chest can be comforting to lay your head on but not so nice with a five o’clock shadow.

With a good personal hair trimmer the hair can be cared for much less often and still provide the well groomed look that many men are striving for, without the hassle of daily shaving.

Some men opt for this method of body hair trimming on some parts of the body while still going with the completely shaved look on other parts of their body. For instance a man might just trim the hairs under their arms, on their back and on their chest while completely shaving their pubic region.

Like I stated earlier, it really is a matter of preference.

If these males are trimming some areas and shaving other areas they will need a good personal shaver along with their personal hair trimmer. After using the trimmer to trim the hair very short they will then use their personal shaver for total body hair removal.

In short, men looking to just trim body hair will only need a hair trimmer for their body hair removal, while men looking for total body hair removal will need a trimmer for the longer hairs and a personal body shaver for the smooth shaved look they desire.

Body hair removal for men needn’t be the extreme hassle that is involved with wet shaving, with having to pre-soften the hairs by soaking, using lots of shaving lubricate to further soften the hairs and protect the skin and then carefully and slowly shaving to prevent nicks, cuts, irritations and ingrown hairs.

With the newer personal body shavers on the market today, the process of body hair removal for men can not only be extremely easy and quick but enjoyable as well.

I mean really, imagine trying to use a wet razor to shave the hair on your back or pubic region. That’s not a pleasant thought when you think of the hassle and mess involved on a daily basis.

So men, if you are considering either trimming or completely removing your body hair no matter what part of your body you are looking to remove the hair from, really consider one of these newer personal body shavers that come with their own body hair trimmer as well.

You will be pleased with the results and so will your happy and delighted partners.

Waxing is a well know yet temporary method of hair removal that has been used by many different cultures throughout history. With this form of hair removal, hot wax is used to remove hair from the root of the shaft which gives you the benefit of taking longer for the hair to grow back. And the really great thing about it is that you can remove a large quantity of hair at one time.

In our daily battle to keep what we consider to be unsightly and unwanted hair off of our body, both genders have many options from which to choose. Some methods of course are more painful than others, and most if not all hair removal methods are not permanent. When it comes to hair removal, you have to decide what you are willing to put up with and how much pain you’re willing to endure in your quest for a smoother body.

Hot wax hair removal has definitely caught on as a popular method of removing unwanted hair. It becomes quite obvious that many people do turn to hot wax for the purpose of hair removal when you take a look at the large number of salons that offer waxing services around the world.

This method can be somewhat painful, but the results tend to last a little longer than shaving or plucking which is the reason so many people are willing to suffer temporarily. They love the longer lasting results. Salons will tell you that your own particular results will be dependent on your type of skin, hair type and the rate of your hair growth. Why they even say that for some individuals waxing has been known to provide smooth results as long as 8 weeks.

Some even believe that hot waxing is the longest lasting temporary hair removal method available today. And despite the fact that it is somewhat painful, nothing really beats waxing for the shear smooth feeling not to mention the quickness that it provides for any type of hair removal.

On average most people when questioned about their use of hot wax for hair removal will say that their experiences have generally resulted in several weeks of hair-free skin but many will also tell you that they usually get irritated red skin for the first few days after treatment. So remember to use a good soothing body lotion for a few days after waxing to cut down on any possible irritating effects.

Hot wax hair removal can be done safely at home if you can stand the pain of doing the treatments on yourself, or you can get a professional to do it for you. If you can afford it, taking the professional route is truly the way to go. There are fancy salons that cater exclusively to clientèle interested in waxing, and these facilities will wax whatever part of your body you want as long as you are willing to pay for it. However, some people who use hot wax for hair removal will only go so far as to get their brows waxed and use more traditional hair removal methods for other parts of their body.

It may be hard to believe but the use of hot wax actually is one of the oldest and most common methods for hair removal. This concept of using wax on our bodies to remove unwanted hair goes all the way back to times of the ancient Egyptians where families of Royalty and other well off individuals turned to hair removal as a way to maintain their beauty and youthfulness.

There are basically two forms of body hair removal: Depilation and epilation.

Depilation is the removal of the body hair above the surface of the skin. The most common forms of depilation treatments are shaving and depilatory solutions or hair removal creams.

Shaving is done either wet with manual razors or dry with many different types of electric shavers including the increasingly popular personal shavers.

Depilatory solutions use harsh chemicals that are applied to the skin in order to dissolve the hair above the skin.

Epilation is the removal of the entire body hair down to and including the root under the skin. The most common types of epilatory treatments include waxing, sugaring, lasers, threading, electrolysis, and the most widely used form, which is plucking.

Plucking can be done individually by hand with a pair of tweezers or with plucking devices know as epilators that pull out or pluck many hairs at one time.

Epilation types of body hair removal last much longer then depilatory types of treatments since the entire hair shaft is removed down to the root.

Epilatory treatments can last as long as three to four weeks and for electrolysis, it can often be a permanent solution since the electric current usually permanently destroys the follicle of the hair.

Whereas with depilatory treatments, the hair begins growing back immediately so hair removal can be required on a daily basis depending on how important it is for the area to be clean-shaven.

Depilation type treatments are generally the less painful forms of body hair removal since the hair is just removed above the skin and the lower hair shaft and root are not affected. Of course, there can be some pain involved with these treatments as well especially when using a hair removal cream if you have rather sensitive skin.

With shaving there is the possibility of nicks, cuts, ingrown hairs and just plain old skin irritations from the razor scraping across the skin.

With depilatory solutions such as hair removal creams there can be skin irritations from the harsh chemicals used to destroy the hair.

And for some people with sensitive skin, either of these body hair removal methods can be too harsh for even less sensitive areas like legs, backs and armpits much less for more sensitive areas such as the face, top of the head, chest and pubic regions of the body.

Epilatory treatments are the more painful of the two types of hair removal methods with electrolysis being the most painful. Each individual hair will receive an electric current down into the shaft in order to kill the follicle, root and all. There is also the possibility of receiving an electric shock from the treatments.

Electrolysis is also an extremely time intensive treatment since the treatments will need to be conducted over many lengthy sessions taking a year or more to completely remove even a small area of body hair. It is not recommended for large areas of body hair and is quite expensive.

The other epilatory types of treatments including plucking, waxing, threading, and epilator devices all pull the body hair out by the root. Epilators, threading and waxing are quite painful as they pull out large quantities of hair at one time where as plucking removes one hair at a time.

Plucking is the most widely used epilation type treatment for small areas such as eyebrows on both males and females and for women on their upper lip, cheeks and chin areas as well.

Both depilatory and eplatory treatments for body hair removal have pros and cons. You should check out each type of treatment carefully and decide for yourself which type is most effective for the type of body hair you are looking to remove.

Calling all women who are thinking about shaving or have been disappointed with shaving their pubic hairs.

Now, the very first thing that you will need is a, “Good Enough”, set of pubic hair shaving tips for women. No women should be without a good set of tips. (I think your partner would agree with this point.)

This guide will become a necessary tool for any women wanting to shave their pubic hairs or any women with less than satisfying results in the past.

Remember, this will be a, “Good Enough”, Guide so nothing, “Good Enough”, on pubic hair shaving tips for women will be left out.

“Good Enough” Tip #1

First things first. You need to know about the tips on shaving pubic hairs for women that are different from other types of shaving.

Don’t just assume that because you know how to shave your armpits and legs that you know how to shave your pubic hairs. Remember what they say about those who, “ass u me”. (I’m sure you get the picture.)

So pay full attention starting with Tip #2 so I’m not just wasting my breath here.

“Good Enough” Tip #2

Make sure you are totally straight before attempting to shave your pubic hairs.

You definitely don’t want blurry eyes or unsteady hands messing around with a blade or any sharp object on your delicate, private body parts. (Please don’t fall for your partner’s drunken pleading no matter what is promised!)

“Good Enough” Tip #3

Make sure you use a shaver specifically recommended for shaving sensitive body parts or at the very least, a good quality razor with a new sharp blade every time you shave.

“Good Enough” Tip #4

If your pubic hairs are long, trim them with sharp blunt tip hair scissors or a hair trimmer before shaving. The long hairs will get caught in the razor and dull the blades very quickly.

Be careful here, you don’t want to cut anything other than hair. (I’m squeamish, so no blood is the order of the day.)

“Good Enough” Tip #5

Don’t begin shaving until 20 minutes after waking up. It will take at least that much time to relieve the puffiness in your skin so the hairs will fully come out to play.

“Good Enough” Tip #6

Now it’s time to soak those coarse little hairs with a warm shower, bath or warm wet cloth for 3-4 minutes to soften them up before they get the ax.

“Good Enough” Tip #7

Next, after soaking in water, it’s time to apply a good shaving cream or your favorite shaving lubricate and leave it on for at least 3 minutes. (Plain old soap is a no no.)

Remember, you need to be alert but you want the hairs sleepy and lethargic. These hairs are tough cookies and you want to catch them off guard when it’s time for them to meet their maker.

“Good Enough” Tip #8

Sit with your legs far apart or try one leg up, like on the edge of the tub. Some women find it easier to sit on an open toilet set. Try different positions until you find out what is most comfortable and works best for you.

“Good Enough” Tip #9

Now it’s time to begin shaving.

First pull the skin tight with one hand and shave without pressure in the direction of the hair growth.

Be very, very careful and go very, very slowly. This is no race and no time to be in a hurry. (Remember, no blood, it’s yucky.)

Only shave each area one time to keep from irritating your skin and to keep from getting ingrown hairs. (Only one pass per customer.)

“Good Enough” Tip #10

Apply more shaving lubricant and make a second pass going against the growth of the hair this time. (Attack your enemy from behind but once again only one pass per customer.)

“Good Enough” Tip #11

Rinse well with warm water after shaving and then splash the shaved area with cold water to close pores and sooth your skin. (Burr – But if you can handle it, try an ice cube.)

“Good Enough” Tip #12

Pat dry and use non perfumed powder to thoroughly dry the skin and apply a good moisturizer or even vitamin E oil to sooth and protect your shaved skin. (Just say AHHH!)

“Good Enough” Tip #13

Wear loose fitting clothing or no clothing for awhile after shaving to allow any irritation to subside. (Just be free as a bird.)

“Good Enough” Tip #14

It will take time to toughen up this part of your body to make pubic hair shaving for women more pleasant.

Follow all of these, “Good Enough”, pubic hair shaving tips for women and before long you will become quite the expert and your pubic region will become totally content with the process.

“Good Enough” Tip #15

That’s, “Good Enough”, for now unless you would like to find out about the best and the easiest pubic hair shaving tip for women ever. If so then look into the latest in personal shavers for a pain free, close shave. This tip can make pubic hair shaving so hassle free you won’t believe it until you check it out for yourself.

Facial hair, if you’re into getting deeply serious on the subject, is a secondary sex characteristic in human males. Now what does that means in everyday English you may be asking? What it simply means is that most men will develop facial hair sometime during puberty.

So why didn’t they just say that in the first place?

We all know that women can also develop facial hair, especially after menopause, though typically much less than men. Now we’re not talking about eyebrows and eyelashes of course which are also grown by both sexes of all ages, so there’s none of that “secondary sex” stuff here.

Oh well who really wanted to to get deeply serious anyway.

Okay let’s get down to business. Men, can I ask you a personal question? Are you a “real man?”

Now, you know I’m not talking about one of those retro/cavemen types, who actually still believe it’s girly to use aftershave. I’m talking about a contemporary “real man”, who isn’t afraid to take a bath once in a while, maybe even enjoys smelling nice for their lady and possibly even combs his hair. Heaven forbid! Whether the male gender likes to admit it or not, that whole race of “so-called” manly men, yup, that’s right the ones who never even put on a button down shirt once in a while, or clean their fingernails have actually gone out of style.

Those women that prefer a “real man” of this ilk are certainly few and far between anymore. In fact I don’t think they ever really existed except in the movies. In this modern day and age, women prefer a man who grooms himself regularly and dresses like he’s not living in the mountains or possibly trapping skunks and eating bugs. Believe it or not, women like their men to look nice and they aren’t afraid to admit it. This doesn’t mean they are totally against men that have a little facial hair from time to time.

So no matter what rock you crawled out from under, facial hair is still and always will be a big part of the male grooming regime. Let’s face it, if your a man, you either want it or you don’t. However, these days there are many ways you can groom it.

Next question. Do you have facial hair?

Now, if you’re a woman, I’m certainly not asking this to insult you. As we know in our contemporary western culture, almost all women shave, tweeze or otherwise remove facial hair which does appear in those unwanted places, as there is considerable social stigma associated with facial hair in women. And a woman would never admit to anyone not even me that she actually had any unwanted facial hair ever. Of course in the days of the freak shows and circuses they once displayed (usually fake) bearded women.

But I digress as I was actually addressing the men only.

Okay, so let me rephrase the question. Men have you allowed your facial hair to grow at least in part?

If you take a glance around, facial hair is quite the hit these days. Of course I’m not referring to that scruffy, un-kept beard that looks like it contains the left-overs from last Thanksgiving. I’m talking about the facial hair of the well groomed sexy modern male. Anything from a full beard, to a goatee, to a van-dyke, to a jazz dot is in fashion these days. I hardly see the mustache too often; therefore I’ll leave that one out. Maybe it’s just not in style at the moment.

Anyway, when it comes to grooming the facial dew, men go all out. They will spare no expense. Gosh, do you think maybe they have now gotten as bad as women? Have you seen those crazy beards that basically look like a labyrinth of lines? How long are these dudes spending on a morning shave? I can’t imagine that the up-keep is very simple. How do they ever get out of the bathroom and on to work?

Now, the more popular facial hair trends of today are the van-dyke and the jazz dot. The van-dyke in particular is often confused with the goatee. While a goatee is the mere chin beard, the van-dyke is the mustache and chin beard (Hey, I guess maybe there are some mustaches still out there after all. They just took on a partner.), which is more prominent. Then there’s the jazz dot, which consists of that one small spot of facial hair under the lower lip. This is a simple one to keep up with on a daily basis.

But then there are a few men out there, who still go for the totally unshaven look. For most men, this only takes a few days of staying away from the razor and actually is not the simplest of all to take care of anymore especially if those Thanksgiving leftovers we talked about earlier give you a problem.

But seriously, (That is if I can allow myself to be serious this time.) and contrary to what you may think, a lot of women really do like this full beard look. I’m not among them but oh well, to each her own. The women that like the full beard look say it offers that rugged, yet oh so handsome appeal. Regardless of your facial hair preference, you can find a variety of shaving methods and beard styles to choose from in magazine and even online.

And then again if you truly are a contemporary “real man” you might even want to check out some of the more advanced technology of the lasers and light sources that are rapidly changing hair removal treatment, providing gentle, non-invasive and long-lasting solutions to unwanted hair. They say these treatments can even last for weeks at a time.

Did you know that hair removal for women is not a recent phenomenon? It seems that women have tried dozens of different ways throughout history to remove hairs that at the time were labeled unfashionable.

You know there are some pretty funny things being said about the history of hair removal. Well maybe they aren’t meant to be funny but they sure do seem funny when you think about them.

Can you imagine tweezing hairs from your body using two seashells rubbed together and then pulling out the hairs caught between them? This form of hair removal is believed to have been practiced as far back as 100,000 years ago. Sounds awfully painful but when imagined in the minds eye the pictures can be quite funny don’t you think?

The funniest image of all has to be an image of the women from the middle Ages. Picture this in your mind. These women plucked and shaved every hair on their neck, temples and forehead even into their hair line to create a high forehead look and don’t forget they removed every hair on their face including all eyebrows and eye lashes. Now that has to be the most bizarre, hysterical, (oops sorry, historical) look.

Then again, burning off leg hairs with a lamp as was practiced by women in Greece around 400 B.C. doesn’t sound funny at all. The only thing that comes to mind with that image is just pure agonizing pain (ouch!).

The thought of using sandpaper or sandpaper like materials that have been used over time to remove unwanted hairs is not a very appealing image either for that matter. These sandpaper materials have been used when money was too tight for women to afford more expensive processes. Boy, women are sure determined to remove unwanted hair from their bodies.

Of course, many of the hair removal procedures used by women today don’t seem to be any more logical or any less painful then the practices for removing hair even as far back as the Stone Age.

When you think about it, the process used in the 1800’s of burning and killing the root of the hair by using a needle dipped in sulfuric acid and inserting it into each individual hair follicle sounds a lot like the use of electrolysis today and every bit as painful.

When you look at the tweezers we use today, are they really less painful then using seashell to remove hair? Maybe they aren’t quite as funny to think about but they are probably just as painful.

Another technique women are once again using is the ancient Indian or some say Arabian art of threading to remove hairs from eyebrows and upper lips. Talk about funny. Have you tried to wind that tiny piece of sewing thread around your fingers as directed and then maneuver hairs in between this wrapped thread so they can be pulled out?

Like they say, threading definitely is an art that is quite interesting to watch when done by a skilled artisan but once again looks painful and definitely not cheap, especially as often as it needs to be repeated in order to stay hair free.

Some women today are even removing the hair on top of their heads and not just for medical reasons any more. This seems like a strange new practice but has actually taken place in many cultures throughout history by women. This is especially true in Egypt due to the extreme heat they put up with in this region of the world. I’ll bet it wasn’t easy or pain free to remove all the hairs from the tops of all of those heads back in ancient Egypt.

It seems that women will go to any length to remove hair from their bodies from shaving, tweezing, threading , sugaring, electrolysis, laser, depilatory creams and even waxing.

How about waxing? What do you think of this technique that has also stood up to the test of time. I don’t know about you but the thought of putting hot wax on my body, applying a cloth to this wax, letting it harden and then pulling it off to remove hairs any where on my body doesn’t sound like a very appealing way to get rid of unwanted hair to me.

It sounds more appealing to just keep the hair then put up with such a torturous procedure as waxing. Oh yes and don’t forget your numbing substance to apply to the area before waxing and look out for swelling, redness or even blisters on your skin afterward.

Don’t you think there has to be a better, less painful way to remove unwanted, unfashionable or unsexy hair then ripping it out in such a barbaric fashion?

What if there was a better way of hair removal for women? Would you be interested in hearing more about it?

Well there really is a better, pain free and cost effective way for women and men to remove any unwanted hair from any part of their body. Yes, you heard that right, from any part of your body and it really is simple and painless.

You really don’t have to continue suffering in order to look good, feel fashionable or sexy for that matter. Just check out the latest and greatest personal hair removal products on the market today. They really are the best hair removal products for women ever invented.

Male body hair removal can mean something different to every man and every generation.

Until more recently most males didn’t consider body hair removal to be a manly thing to do with the only exception of course, being facial hair removal.

The macho types of earlier generations thought body hair removal was for women or gay males or possibly porn stars. This attitude and belief about body hair removal is drastically changing especially with today’s younger generations.

In many societies around the world we are starting to see male underarm hair becoming less appealing than in the past. Why, there was a time not to long ago when most macho males would never have considered hair removal from their armpits and now it is becoming much more widely acceptable.

It is no longer just body builders who want cleanly shaved bodies including arms, legs, pubic regions and chests anymore. Males are removing more body hair from all parts of their bodies for a number of different reasons, including to please their partners, for athletic enhancement and for some, to just be cleaner and more sexually attractive.

So what techniques are males in today’s macho generations turning to for their body hair removal?

Many males like the smooth look and feel that waxing can give them. They also like the fact that it only needs to be done every three to four weeks, but – They are finding there are a few drawbacks with waxing as well.

Let’s take a look at waxing for male body hair removal -

The hot wax will need to be applied to the area where the hair is to be removed. You will need to be extremely careful to not burn the skin with the hot wax, which is one of the drawbacks of waxing.

Next, a strip of linen will then be placed on top of the hot wax, which is then pulled off rapidly in order to pull all of the hair out by the roots. (Can you say, “OUCH”?)

If a male is doing a large area such as his chest or back, this can be a rather painful process. The skin can also become quite sore and irritated as the top layer of skin is usually pulled off with the wax and cloth. (Can you say double, “OUCH”??)

Waxing can also be an expensive and time-consuming hair removal method if large areas are waxed at a time. So the hairier the male is, the less likely this will be as an appropriate solution for male body hair removal.

Even for many of today’s macho males this doesn’t sound very appealing. I mean you really have to be a macho, macho male to not yell and scream when someone is pulling all of those body hairs out by the roots.

Maybe this is our cultures’ new right of passage for males today … I can see it now – You can’t become a real macho male until you have had all of your body hair removed by waxing without letting out a single yell or scream.

What do you think? Do you think many males would make it into adulthood as real macho males?

Another drawback to waxing is that although it’s only done every three to four weeks, the hairs do begin to grow back during that time and can become quite stubbly and itchy before you can perform the waxing again.

You must wait three to four weeks to allow the hairs to grow back long enough, (which is usually about a half an inch), to be pulled out by the waxing process once again. This means you will have to go for some time looking and feeling like you have sandpaper skin all over if you want to continue with the waxing.

Many of the other methods of body hair removal including electrolysis, lasers, threading, and plucking are not viable options for male body hair removal because of the expense, time consumption, skin irritation and pain for each of these methods over large portions of the body.

This leaves depilatory solutions and shaving as the only other viable methods of male body hair removal.

Some males do find depilatory solutions to be quite effective, although even on tougher male skin, some males find the chemicals in the solutions too harsh for larger and more sensitive regions on their body.

Shaving still ends up to be one of the more widely used methods of male body hair removal.

Yes, this method of body hair removal needs to be done quite often, but when done with one of the new personal body shavers, it can be done quickly, inexpensively and pain free. The most important advantage of all is that a male can always look and feel smooth, sexy and clean-shaven without nicks, cuts or skin irritations.

Hear what happened when two friends began discussing the topic of pubic hair designs -

Jill:

“Sally I’m kind of embarrassed to ask you this, and you don’t have to answer if I’m being too personal, but have you and Joe ever shaved each other in the pubic region?”

Sally:

“Yes, we have done it several times. It’s so much fun and we’ve been trying out new designs ever since we found out how much fun it is. We just can’t wait to try out a new design when we find one we like in a book, from a friend or on the Internet.

You don’t have to be embarrassed. Why Jane and I discuss it all the time and have even exchanged some design ideas with each other.

Have you ever tried it with Sam?”

Jill:

“He has asked me a few times to give it a try, but I have been reluctant and thought I would ask some of my friends like you and Jane for some advice and to see what you think about the idea.

I had no idea you and Joe were into pubic hair shaving, much less pubic hair designs.”

Sally:

“Oh yes – It’s all the rage you know, and doing pubic hair designs is absolutely the most fun. Much more fun than just shaving everything off.”

Jill:

“What do you mean by pubic hair designs? I thought people just shave part or all of their hair off. Is it really possible to shave designs into your pubic hair?”

Sally:

“What? Have you been living under a rock? Of course it’s possible, and like I said, it’s tons of fun also. There are so many magazines, websites and even TV shows these days talking about pubic hair designs and how to do them properly. It’s hard to miss them.”

Jill:

“I guess I haven’t been paying that much attention lately – You know we have been so busy at work these days.”

Sally:

“I can give you some good pointers if you like. We had to learn the hard way and I would hate to see you and Sam go through some of the things we have suffered in the past when it can be so much fun as long as you have the right tools and procedures instead of learning by experimenting the way we did.

Why, there are even stencils for pubic hair designs that you can buy, or if you want to get creative, you can cut your own designs out of a thin plastic container so you can make sure to get the same design every time.

My favorite design is a heart with an arrow that Joe came up with and for the holidays we like to do shapes like stars, bunnies, and Christmas trees.

You’ll see how exciting and fun it is. And you are going to love being creative and coming up with new ideas and designs. Why, we have even used paste on crystals. Talk about Fun!”

Jill:

“Doesn’t it hurt and don’t you get cuts and skin irritations? I have read about that part and I guess that’s why I have been so reluctant.”

Sally:

“Oh no, not now that we have found the perfect personal shaver that works for both of us easily and without any risk of cutting or hurting each other at all.

Like I said, when we first started I was so scared all of the time because it was difficult to shave each other with a regular wet razor without one or both of us getting some kind of cut or irritation. That kind of put a damper on the intimacy we liked to enjoy after we were done with the shaving.

But now that we have found the perfect shaver, we are free to really enjoy and trust each other to shave each other completely or do really intricate designs painlessly and smoothly. Of course, there are times when we don’t complete the shaving and have to finish it the next time, if you know what I mean …

If you decide to go with a regular wet razor, you will need to use lots of shaving lubricant and soak the hairs for five minutes in warm water before you begin.

Next begin shaving with the hair growth and then a second time against the hair growth, but – Be careful not to repeat strokes over the same area more than twice or you will irritate the skin. Also keep adding more shaving lubricant as you go along so you are never shaving an area that is dry or not well lubricated.

Make sure you go slowly and carefully and whatever you do, only shave when you’re totally straight. This is no time for that wine party. Wait until after the shaving to pull out the alcohol or whatever.

But I’m telling you it’s so easy with this new personal shaver we have found, you need to go on the Internet and find out about this personal shaver for yourself.

Jill:

“Thanks for the advice Sally. I’m going to check it out right away. It sounds like a great idea and I want to make sure we have as much fun as you and Joe are having. Sam will be so surprised and excited when I tell him we’re going to be learning how to do pubic hair designs!”

Women and men alike spend a great deal of time and money trying to find something that will help them to cure razor bumps and get smooth, hair-free skin without any of these nasty, unwanted side-effects of shaving. Shaving definitely is an inexpensive and effective method but it can lead to some irritating results, as we all know.

One of the things that almost every woman on earth will attest to is that there is just some body hair that is unwanted and must be gotten rid of no matter what the cost. Granted many women living in other parts of the world just might embrace their underarm or even their leg hair, but for most of us, getting rid of it is high on the priority list.

However, I know I want a cure for those painful unsightly razor bumps, don’t you?

The process of shaving uses a blade of some sort that can cause the skin to become red and bumpy, especially when you don’t take some necessary precautions to protect the skin. Have you ever wondered how you can possibly cure these annoying razor bumps?

First let’s take a look at the causes of razor bumps and then some possible cures.

These bumps can be caused by such things as dull razors, not using proper lubricant or even by curly hair that gets cut at an angle, making it sharp. This hair then sometimes curls back toward the skin and punctures it becoming what is called ingrown hairs. Razor bumps are then created when these hairs curl and grow back into the skin. Our body’s immune system tends to recognize the hair as an intruder and attacks it, creating red, inflamed bumpy areas.

So, if you have ever shaved then I’m sure you have noticed at some point in time these uncomfortable and unsightly small bumps after the job is done. But I’m also sure that you know that finding a way to cure razor bumps can be a bit tricky. There are however several approaches that can be quite effective and they’re really worth giving each of them a try until you find one or more that can work for you.

A very important thing to consider is the type of shaving lotion you’re using. Many women decide to fore go the few extra dollars they would have to spend on a good quality shaving cream and opt to use plain ole bar soap instead. This can lead to all kinds of nasty problems including razor bumps.

If you really want to cure razor bumps then buy a moisturizing shaving cream and make a vow to never ever use bar soap again. You certainly don’t even need to purchase those well-advertised expensive brands out there but in order to really cure razor bumps you do need to use a product specifically formulated for shaving, and bar soap isn’t even close.

Next, take a look at the type of razor that you’re using. Yes, I know what your saying, “There are countless types of razors being advertised for women and I always use one of these.” Some of these female razors have very fancy sounding feminine names and come in lovely shades of pink. These might look great and cost a lot of money but they might not be helping to cure your razor bumps.

So, now you may be asking, “What kind am I suppose to use if the ones for women are so bad?” Try a razor with more than one head. This really is the best type, even for women. This will help cure razor bumps by cutting the hair very close to the root without irritating the skin and help to prevent those nasty ingrown hairs we spoke about earlier.

It’s also really important for you to change the razor head or blade often. Stop trying to get that one or two last shaves out of that razor you know is well past its prime. As soon as you notice that it isn’t gliding across the skin as smoothly or it isn’t cutting the hair as closely, it’s time for a replacement. Making certain that your razor is in tip-top shape will go a long way towards helping to cure razor bumps as well.

Remember, shaving isn’t over just because you’ve rinsed off your leg and ran your hand across it to feel the smoothness. The skin will be dry from shaving so it’s important to apply a cream or lotion as soon as possible. Using a good moisturizer after wards can be an important step to help cure razor bumps. If razor bumps are still a problem, try to use something unscented as this can also help to cure any lingering bumps or irritations.

A recent treatment for razor bumps is called eflornithine hydrochloride. It’s a prescription drug used to remove facial hair for women, but it’s apparently been proven to be effective in controlling and treating razor bumps as well. Since it’s a prescription drug, you’ll have to talk to your doctor about it.

We all know that it’s a given that women are going to shave from time-to-time. So, do your skin a favor and purchase products for shaving that are designed to help prevent or cure razor bumps. Your skin will love you for it.

In many cases, hair removal might be considered a “cosmetic” issue, but managing or removing unwanted hair can go beyond just being a simple “cosmetic” problem. Since many cultures have an aesthetic “ideal” amount of hair for males and females, unwanted hair that exceeds this arbitrary standard can for some of us cause real or perceived problems with social acceptance. This is where laser hair removal information can come in quite handy.

Once you begin looking for information on laser hair removal you will find lots of it readily available, on and off the Internet. And choosing to explore these vast amounts of laser hair removal information is your first step to successfully getting rid of unwanted body hair or unwanted facial hair.

The first place many of us begin our search is on the World Wide Web. This is the most convenient and most exhaustive source. Although lots of laser hair removal information can be found easily on the Internet, it’s still best to visit several sites before making a decision. And always keep in mind when exploring hair removal on the Internet, that some sites are less concerned with providing accurate information than they are with selling the service, so it’s always a good idea to consider the source when conducting such searches.

Sometimes the laser hair removal information on these site varies from one another. This conflicting information is confusing and aggravating. Of course, some people opt instead to just visit individuals who provide hair removing services but you still are not guaranteed to get the best laser hair removal information from these sources either. Many would argue that this is not the best source for depilatory facts because it is a sales-based business.

However, a small laser clinic can often provide the best laser hair removal information available because its reputation is at stake. One customer who is dissatisfied can wreak havoc on such a small service provider in a relatively short time. Word of mouth advertising is a crucial part of the beauty business so clinics who have been in business awhile most likely have good results.

Part of the concern many potential depilatory customers face is whether or not the service is right for them or if they are good candidates for removing their unwanted hair with lasers. There are several things to consider when deciding if you should pursue more laser hair removal information or not. There are several qualitative features of a successful candidate for this type of hair remover.

One very important thing to consider is the location and amount of hair to be removed. For instance, laser facial hair removal sounds like it would be a good selection because it’s such a small area to start with but it’s also a very sensitive area and one exposed to the world so it might not be a good idea to choose facial hair removal first when beginning your laser treatments.

Laser Hair Removal, when first introduced in the late 1990’s, was limited to lighter skinned individuals with dark hair. Efficient hair removal was produced by Alexandrite and Diode lasers. Dark skinned individuals with dark hair could not use these lasers for effective hair removal because early generation lasers were unable to distinguish between skin pigment and hair follicles, which led to the burning of those with darker skin.

Today this has all changed. The advent of the new laser line, the YAG, and the re-invention of the IPL system has afforded excellent results for individuals with dark skin and dark hair. But even still, the ideal candidate has dark hair and medium to light colored skin. Redheads and fair-skinned individuals may not be well suited for this approach to removing unwanted hair because there can be some marks left behind.

When you do come across really useful laser hair removal information, it should include a chart with the physical characteristics attributed to a good candidate.

When thinking about laser hair removal, you also want to consider your willingness to make return visits. Some of the information out there on laser hair removal asserts that often times customers see only a 40 percent reduction in the follicle growth on their first visit. If this is the case with your treatments, you may be required to make more than a few trips to achieve the desired results. And, if you happen to be one of those requiring several return treatments, it may be hard for you to stay away from the razors and the depilatory creams in the meantime especially if it’s an exposed area of the body such as your facial hairs tend to be.

Permanent laser hair removal can be achieved by precisely following each treatment protocol recommended by your laser hair removal clinic. Most laser hair removal websites have not been updated with current information, therefore may not portray the care and commitment that needs to be taken in order to ensure effective results.
