Facial hair and facial hair removal are subjects most women would care to not talk about or even admit they exist. (What hairs, I don’t see any hairs?)
But many women will do almost anything to remove facial hair if it is even a tiny bit noticeable.
So let’s buck the trend as we open up and talk about facial hair and facial hair removal for women. Let’s become enlightened as we eliminate some of the mystic behind it and examine some of the truths about facial hair removal for women.
(There we have even said it out loud… That wasn’t so bad was it?)
Facial hair has always been a concern for many women and even a small amount can be quite embarrassing.
(Now admit it I’ll bet you have panicked more then once or twice when you saw one of those extra dark and extra coarse hairs somewhere on your face. Come clean now I won’t tell anyone. I promise.)
Although throughout history there have been several prominent women who refused to remove excessive facial hair either as a way to buck society or fight controls placed on women.
Usually the cause of excess facial hair for women is a hereditary factor but a less likely cause may be due to a medical condition.
If there is a sudden increase in facial hair growth that can’t be explained, it’s a good idea to check with a doctor to see if there is a medical reason or if there is something that could be done to decrease the hair medically.
Some women especially those women with darker hair may have more of a problem then women with lighter hair. Many of these women find that facial hair removal is a problem they need to deal with most of their adult lives.
Women reaching menopause age often have an increase in facial hair growth due to the decrease of the female hormone Estrogen, creating an imbalance between the amount of female to male hormones in their system.
This is a natural part of aging and something most women will face as they age. (The saying ‘age gracefully’ must have been invented by a man.)
Even though it is a natural part of aging, it can be an additional traumatic event for some women having difficulty with the aging process as they feel they are already dealing with so many unpleasant changes in their bodies.
This can be extremely troublesome to women who have not had a problem with facial hair in the past and for the first time in their lives are now faced with the decision of how to remove it.
Most women hate facial hair more then any other hair on their bodies and if they believe it to be noticeable, even if other don’t, they will go to almost any length or expense in order to eliminate the problem.
Women have fought the use of shaving as a form of facial hair removal because of a false belief that shaving will increase the amount and coarseness of the hair.
They have an image of themselves becoming the bearded ladies from the freak shows of the past. This is an old wives tale, as shaving in actuality will do nothing to change the amount or texture of the facial hair. (No, you will not start looking like a man if you shave.)
The shaved hair has a blunt end that feels stubblier when growing out then the naturally growing hair and therefore feels coarser when in reality it hasn’t changed at all.
Contrary to popular opinion, shaving as a form of facial hair removal for women will not speed up the growth of the hairs or increase the numbers of hairs on your face either. (Those old wives were busy weren’t they?)
Shaving really is a safe and easy form of facial hair removal for women. It can be done quickly, painlessly and quite inexpensively compared to most other forms of facial hair removal used by women including electrolysis, lasers, and waxing.

Shaving for women today is not the nightmare it was in the past. (At least that’s what we are told to believe.)
With all the shaving products and services on the market, there is no longer a need to suffer just to have well shaved body parts. This is definitely a true statement, but women really need to do their homework in order to find the right products and methods for shaving that will truly help them accomplish this.
Many shaving products are now made specifically for women and some are made for a woman’s particular body parts.
In the not too distant past, the only choice women had was to use the same razors made for men by men, but today, the manufacturers have realized what a great market there is for companies focusing on the individual needs of women alone.
This has rapidly become a very competitive market and women now must be wise shoppers and not just fall for all the hype.
There really are so many options to chose from it can become quite overwhelming, but with a little research, you can explore the possibilities and decide for yourself what methods and products are best for you and your type of shaving.
Shaving for women can become an extremely unpleasant, painful, and expensive chore. Or it can be an easy, pleasant experience that you don’t mind at all. You might even find that you love the results, like the perfect dream come true. The choice is up to you.
Even with all the changes in the market, one of the most popular choices for women is still shaving in the shower with a razor. This is the shaving method taught to so many women by their mothers and continues to pass down through the generations, especially by those women who don’t take the time to carefully examine all of the options open to them today.
If you really examine other alternatives, you will find that shaving in the shower actually is not the best option available for women. For example, check out the scenario below:
I don’t know if you have noticed, but women’s body parts are not flat like the manual razors many women use today for shaving in the shower. A flat blade meeting up with a rounded or curved body part is not the greatest idea as far as I can tell.
I don’t know who ever thought this idea up, but even I can look at that straight flat blade and my not so flat body parts and think something isn’t clicking here. (Flat … Curved … Flat … Curved … Cuts … Irritation … What do they expect?)
I’ll bet you have tried many times to pull that skin flat enough under your arms to get a good close shave without cuts, right? How about shaving your knees? Talk about rounded! How many times have you just ignored those knees and said to yourself, “I’ll just do those next time”?
How about shaving your pubic region? NOW your talking curves! Ever tried that with a nice straight, (SAFETY?), razor?
These manufacturers and marketers say they are catering to the modern woman’s shaving needs. Yeah, right. Do you believe that one?
They DO expect us to nick and cut ourselves. They expect shaving for women to include razor burns and skin irritations.
How else are they going to convince us to keep buying another razor, spending more and more money looking for that perfect razor and a different one for that matter for each separate body part?
How else will they get you to be dissatisfied with your present product and get you looking for something more?
How else will they get you to buy that perfect shaving cream and that perfect aftercare lotion?
Remember – Shaving for women has become a multimillion-dollar business. How will they make all of that money if you find a product or method of shaving that not only works, but also doesn’t cost you lots and lots of money? If you said, “They won’t.”, then you are right again.
Like I mentioned at the beginning, it’s up to you to do your homework and find the option that meets your needs. No one else will do it for you. But it really is easy to do and you can start right now by checking out all of the information and articles on shaving for women available on the Internet.
And just maybe you can cut through all of the hype and find that dream come true of the perfect shaving experience.

I know, I know the removal of facial hair for women is a touchy subject, but we are among friends right? So, if we are friends just like on the TV shows, it’s perfectly fine to discuss this so sensitive subject, right? Right!
OK then – Let’s take a look at the different types of recommended treatments for the removal of facial hair in women so we can decide for ourselves what would be in our own best interest. Friends look out for friends, right? (Right again.)
Recommended treatments include threading, waxing, shaving, electrolysis, tweezing, depilatory solutions and laser.
Wow – I didn’t think it would take very long, but this is quite a list of choices, don’t you think?
Threading is becoming quite popular in the US today for the removal of facial hair in women, but has been practiced in other parts of the world for centuries. Many say it started in the Middle East, or perhaps India.
It is definitely an art form and is performed by trained artisans usually found in Indian neighborhoods around the country. They use a single cotton thread to wrap around your hairs and pull them out by the root. (Ouch!)
Many say it’s great for the removal of facial hair at least for women because you are usually just removing small amounts of hair from eyebrows, upper lips, cheeks and chin areas.
(Well at least that’s good to know. I’d sure hate to see too many of my hairs pulled out by the root for any reason.)
With threading there is less irritation to the skin than with many other forms of facial hair removal, but there will still be some irritation. (Some irritation they say. The hairs will be pulled out by the roots! Ouch again.)
They also say there is a pinching feeling similar to tweezing, but it goes much more rapidly then tweezing. (I don’t know about you, but that’s a pinch I could do without.)
It can also be quite expensive if you can find someone skilled enough to perform this art form of hair removal and you will need to have it repeated about every three weeks.
People have recently developed a fascination with the Eastern philosophy and threading seems to be an extension of that fascination. (I think I’ll stick with Yoga or meditation to fulfill my fascination, thanks.)
Many women find waxing as one of the better forms of removal of facial hair available today. It can be used for removing hairs from small places like brow lines and upper lips.
With waxing, hot wax is put on the skin where the hair is to be removed and a strip of linen is applied and then pulled off quickly to pull the hairs out from the roots. (Not the roots again. Talk about painful. Now you have roots pulled out and hot wax on your skin!)
The skin can become quite red and sore from waxing and it can also cause the skin to prematurely wrinkle as the top layer of skin is often pulled off with the hair. (OK, so now we have no hair, but we risk getting more wrinkles? Great, I can’t wait.)
I don’t see any reason to subject ourselves to anymore examinations of pain just for the removal of facial hair when there are perfectly good facial hair removal products for women on the market right now that are totally pain free.
These products include personal shavers, hair removal creams and hair inhibitors for the removal of facial hair in women and actually are quite inexpensive. They will also safely and easily remove all of your unwanted facial hairs without any irritation and you can use any one of them in the privacy of your own home without any torturous pain.
There is also no need to scour the cities for trained Indian artisans. Just check out the various products recommended on this site and you won’t be disappointed.
I told you I’d look out for you.

Hair is a funny thing. There are those among us that desire more hair and those who do whatever they can including the use of electrolysis to remove their hair. Yes it’s true, some of us want more hair on our heads while less hair on our chest while others want less hair on their heads and more on their chest. And the same goes for legs, faces, armpits and even backs. Go figure!
Like I said, hair and it’s removal or quest for more is a funny thing in our society today. However those of us looking for removal methods of unwanted hair have a much easier time of it than those looking to gain more hair. And many people are finding that recent advances in electrolysis are moving this form of hair removal into the category of the more effective forms of hair removal on the market today.
One of the greatest allures of electrolysis for hair removal is that it’s one of the more permanent procedures available. After several treatments, most people find that the area will remain free of unwanted hair for extended periods of time and in some cases it can remove the hair forever. When this permanent removal occurs, the lucky person believes the hassle was well worth it after all.
We all know that electrolysis has been used for many years. However when used appropriately and by a qualified professional, there are very few risks involved and it’s much less painful than many people expect it to be. Yes, I do believe electrolysis hair removal is one of those types of procedures that requires a skilled and trained professional who has experience performing this particular procedure. There are some home kits available, but it really is a good idea to visit a trained person for this service and leave other hair removal methods for use in the home environment.
The next thing to consider is that electrolysis hair removal will require several treatments depending on the amount of hair in need of removal, the particular location of the hair being removed and your own particular type of skin and hair. The number of required treatments for your own hair removal needs will usually be determined as the results are observed over the beginning sessions. Remember that each hair is removed individually so you may have to return for an extended period of time if you’re looking to have a substantial amount of hair removed.
Now, when it comes to the length of each treatment these too will vary anywhere from ten minutes to as long as an hour based on the amount of hair to be removed, the location of the hair removal and the schedules of you and the professional performing the procedure.
The pain associated with electrolysis hair removal has been a drawback for many considering its use, but in fact electrolysis hair removal is comfortable when the proper equipment is used appropriately by a trained professional. The equipment is designed so you, the customer, might feel a slight tingling sensation, but no real pain. And is actually safe to use on even the more sensitive parts of the body including the eyebrows and the upper lip. And the best part is that there are no harmful substances or chemicals to irritate or burn the skin.
If you’re interested in electrolysis for your hair removal needs be sure to investigate the services of several establishment before committing any money for services. Make sure that the salon or clinic is very clean, the equipment is the latest available and that it meets all of your states requirements.

Women, have you been thinking about facial hair removal, but you’re too afraid to ask anyone for advice?
Do you spend each day looking in the mirror and thinking, “I really should do something about facial hair removal”, and then you just tweeze out a couple more hairs and go on with the rest of your day?
Is it now getting to the point where a couple of tweezes a day isn’t cutting it?
Do you realize something better needs to be done about those hairs that just keep popping up and are becoming more and more embarrassing or maybe a total nuisance?
Or maybe you are just getting sick of tweezing them? It’s painful and leaves those little red bumps that can last for hours, days and even sometimes, for weeks.
Talk about embarrassing. Isn’t that when you start wishing the hair would just grow back or you had never pulled it out in the first place?
So what is the best way for women to deal with facial hair removal you ask?
Gosh, I thought you’d never ask. Now that you finally have – Let’s take a look at some of the available options:
How about depilatory solutions?
Aren’t you wondering how effective these hair removal creams are?
Great idea. Let’s start with depilatory solutions as our first option open to women for facial hair removal. Depilatory solutions, better known as hair removal creams have been used by women on their face as well as other parts of their body for quite a few years. Remember the original facial hair removal products and creams for women? (Well, maybe you aren’t old enough to remember the original, but I sure do.)
Depilatories are chemical solutions in the form of a cream that are applied to the hair and skin and the chemicals dissolve the hair in a few minutes. The problem with these creams is they can be very harsh to the skin, especially if you have sensitive skin. Even if your skin isn’t sensitive, it can still become irritated and develop rashes since the solution is used often to remove the facial hairs that will begin to grow back within a few days.
Oh yes – Don’t forget the obnoxious smell that can linger for quite sometime. (This is true even with perfumes added to make an attempt at covering up the smell!) This sounds like as much work as tweezing and even more painful, not to mention smelly. Maybe we should continue to look into options other than hair removal creams?
What do you think?
Did you just say, “So how about sugaring?” I thought that’s what you said, and I agree.
Let’s take a look at sugaring:
Sugaring is similar to waxing except it’s not as harsh on the skin. (Now that sounds like a step in the right direction.) Sugaring is a mixture of sugar, water, and lemon that is made into a sticky ball and applied to the skin where the facial hair is to be removed. Next it’s pulled off quickly in order to pull the hair out, root and all.
It’s not quite as painful as waxing since it only sticks to the hair and not the skin the way wax does. But it doesn’t pull out as much of the finer hairs the way waxing does either so it will need to be repeated more often then waxing. Sounds awfully messy and still quite painful to me. It doesn’t sound like much of a time saver either. (Making sugar balls has never been a highlight of my life.)
You know, if you are really looking for good advice and good answers to your questions about women and facial hair removal, you should take a look at what the experts on the Internet have to say about women’s facial hair removal. You’ll find some very good ideas and lots of articles for women that can really help you make well-informed decisions about facial hair removal and all other hair removal for that matter.

Many people are not aware of the fact that the popularity of pubic hair removal has been around for a long time. (No, porn movie stars didn’t invent it.)
Even paintings and statues from many hundreds of years ago and even as far back as the Ancient Greek and Rome civilizations portray women with hair on their heads but not on their pubic regions. (I bet you thought they were just lousy sculptors didn’t you?)
Pubic hair removal has also been a popular practice equated with cleanliness in many religions throughout history. So how popular is pubic hair removal for women today as far as men are concerned, you ask? (I’m so glad you asked.)
Men have found women with no pubic hair more sensually and sexually attractive for many centuries and it continues to the present day. (I doubt you will find a man who will complain about that as a good reason to be popular.)
Until recently, the popularity of pubic hair removal for women in our present society was somewhat limited to the affluent who could more easily afford to pay for expensive treatments like electrolysis, laser treatments and even waxing.
Of course this was not spoken about in polite conversation. Therefore the taboo wasn’t the pubic hair removal itself but in the speaking about it. (Mum was the word, if you know what I mean.)
And what do women say about how popular pubic hair removal is for women today? (I thought you’d never ask.) The first surprising thing you will notice is that women are openly discussing it.
Just take a look at the interest in pubic hair removal on the Internet, in salons, in magazines and even on television and you can see for yourself how popular pubic hair removal for women has become in our present day society.
(We have come a long way baby! Why, first smoking and now even pubic hair removal. You can keep the smoking, I’ll stick with talking about pubic hair removal, thanks.)
Our bodies throughout all of history have been used by different cultures as an art form, a creative way to express ourselves and as a way to fit in with popular crowds. Pubic hair removal is no exception.
Today the younger generations especially have taken up pubic hair removal as a popular way to adorn and decorate their bodies. Hair removal on their private body parts has become as popular as tattoos, shaved heads, weird hair colors and body piercing.
Today’s, “in the know”, women are not only removing their pubic hairs, they are using their pubic hair and the pubic area of their bodies for creative hair designs including heart shapes for Valentine’s Day, Rabbit Ears for Easter and trees for Christmas.
(Can you think of a better way to express the holidays with someone you love?)
Women are adorning pubic areas free of hair with temporary paste on crystals placed in intricate designs, tattoos and even temporary paintings.
Many women are now also using hair color on these intricate designs shaved into their pubic hairs to further decorate their bodies. This can be extremely dangerous since there are no hair coloring agents designed for this purpose as of this writing.
So as you can see, pubic hair removal for women has become so popular today that women are not just using it to be more sexually stimulating to their partners, more sexually arousing for themselves, for cleanliness or whatever. They are using it for individual expression and as a creative outlet as well.
These women are also finding out about the new personal shavers that work great for removing all of their pubic hairs and work even better when they are creating their special designs no matter how intricate these designs may be.

Does it seem to you that hair removal for women has turned into an overly complicated chore?
Take the once simple act of shaving as an example. What more could any woman possibly need to remove hair from their body then a razor, some shaving cream and a little water, right? Wrong! Just take a look around at all of the recommendations these days for the different procedures, steps and products involved in hair removal. Some recommendations are several pages long.
It seems to me that shaving along with all the other forms of hair removal have really become complex rituals in our society today. Now, it may be that hair removal has always been a complex ritual but in our culture at this point in time it seems that this ritual has been taken to the extreme.
I know, you are saying that I should just take a look at the barber shops and beauty shops of the past. Now there’s a ritual for you. People gathered in these places on a daily basis to do more then just get their daily shaves or hairdos. Why they spent time there every morning and again in the evening to touch basis with friends and gossip about the latest local news.
Well maybe this is the reason we have now turned hair removal into the complicated ritual it is today. Since cities have grown so large and impersonal in most places around the civilized world, we no longer have the social connection associated with grooming in public on a daily basis.
So it appears that many people do need some kind of personal connection when it comes to personal grooming techniques. It also seems that we have found a way to fill this need for connection by sharing the latest and greatest techniques and products for shaving as well as all the other complicated techniques used for hair removal.
I don’t know about you but don’t you think there just has to be some other more rewarding way for all of us to connect on a personal basis then to turn something so simple as hair removal into something so complex that no one can figure out how to do it without some kind of advanced degree? (Gosh, that sentence is as complex as hair removal has become.)
What about fitness clubs. Isn’t there enough exposure to public grooming in these places that we could just leave hair removal alone?
For an example of how complicated things have become, take a look at the technique of laser hair removal. This has been touted to be the greatest invention since sliced bread and the latest most exciting news for women looking for a more permanent form of hair removal.
It may be very expensive and time consuming since it can cost as much as $1500 (and some say even more) for a series of 6 to 8 laser treatments on one localized area but its permanent right? Wrong again!
The results have been less then favorable. The hair may not grow back for three months but with some women it grows back even sooner. Wow, now calculate the cost of laser treatments as a regular form of hair removal and this new sliced bread can become quite expensive. And talk about needing an advanced degree to perform a hair removal technique. This is not something you can try at home to keep your cost down.
Don’t forget to ask for some form of local anesthetic for pain when you go for your treatments. It may not be as painful as electrolysis but there will be pain. Some women say there is more then enough pain to say “ouch” to during the treatments not to mention the swelling and redness on the treated areas after being zapped with that laser beam.
That’s 6 to 8 separate days of pain sever enough that some women require oral pain killers just to make it through each treatment. (Now I’m really going to say OUCH!)
Now remember, (This is worth repeating.) you will need 6 to 8 of these sessions for one area alone and this is not a permanent solution! There maybe less hairs and some returning hairs maybe finer and less noticeable then before the treatments but they will return in three months or less.
Can you imagine that. All that time, pain, expense and hassles and those disgusting little annoying hairs can’t even be kind enough to stay away for more then three months!
As stated earlier, it sure seems that hair removal for women has become an overly complicated chore and an extremely costly ritual in our society today.
All this hoopla over hair removal for women while there already is a very simple, back to basics hair removal product on the market today known as personal shavers. That’s right they’re available now and can be purchased quite inexpensively.
The best part about these personal shavers is that they’re so simple to operate that anyone, female or male, can use one on any part of their body without any advanced degrees, outrages expense or time consuming appointments.
Oh ya, I almost forgot to tell you the really best part. They really are pain free! So check out the personal shavers available today.

Finding a good shaving product for women can be somewhat frustrating when trying to decide what type of shaver is best for the different types of shaving. (It’s totally amazing how complicated some people can make things.)
Some people recommend one type of women’s shaving product for armpits and legs and another type for pubic areas and yet another type for facial hair removal. It can get quite expensive and quite mind boggling to say the least. (You can’t say I didn’t warn you.)
I don’t know about you, but when I start to take a look at all of this confusing information on women’s shaving products, my head begins to swim and my mind begins to wander to more pleasant things, (like even taking out the trash).
So what do you say, why don’t we just take some time right here, right now, to sort it all out and see if we can simplify the whole process and even make it interesting?
I’m sure glad you agreed because I probably would have just continued with the whole process of looking into women’s shaving products anyhow.
So here we go.
First things first. Simply put, women’s shaving products include both wet and dry electric razors, manual razors and battery operated personal shavers.
Simple enough don’t you think?
Well now things get more complicated.
Manual razors include ones that are totally disposable, partially disposable with disposable cartridges or blades and they even say there are razors that don’t have a blade at all, just some sort of chemical. (Talk about scary!)
There are also safety razors and straight razors. (I don’t know about you, but I hope my razor is both straight and safe!)
Many women swear by their disposable razors as they say they have had less then satisfactory results with electric shavers. They are willing to put up with the nicks and occasional cuts because they still find the manual razors are better for getting a close, smooth shave on those tough leg, pubic and armpit hairs.
Now, on to the dry electric razors. There are ones with circular heads, flat heads, rounded heads and you name it heads. (Sounds like some people I know.) This is where it can get even more complicated.
The recommendation for women is usually towards the rounded head types, not the ones with several circulating heads. (So much for the saying that two heads are better than one.)
It’s best to check out electric shavers made especially for women.
Next, lets take a look at women’s wet electric razors. These are cordless razors that are made for using wet in the shower. (I do hope your shower is wet; I know mine is.)
Make sure you use one made specifically for the shower or you might get a surprise you weren’t at all expecting. (Shockingly ouchy, if you know what I mean.)
There are also women who swear by their electric shavers mostly because they are less likely to get cut by an electric shaver the way manual razors can nick and cut.
Of course, the blades on electric shavers need to be clean and sharp or you can become quite irritated from your electric shaver. These irritations can be every bit as painful as a cut with a manual razor.
Last, but most importantly, are the battery operated personal shavers. These shavers are newer to the market than the other types mentioned above.
At the present time, many women have not given them a try. They are most definitely worth taking a look at. They can be used on any type of hair on all of your body parts and they completely eliminate the need for messy shaving lubricants or the need for multiple types of razors.
They are used dry safely without nicks, cuts, ingrown hairs or even irritations to the skin. They really do eliminate the complications of the other types of women’s shaving products on the market today. (See I told you we could turn this into an uncomplicated process even I could understand.)
The important things you do need to look for when shopping for a personal shaver are a good reputable company with a good quality product and a money back guarantee so you can take some time to check it out for yourself.
You really do need to find out for yourself how great personal shavers can be for all types of shaving for women.
Many women have found what they believe to be the perfect women’s shaving product. It’s a small, battery operated shaver, specifically designed to easily and safely handle all the curves of a woman.

Gosh, do I have a story to tell you. This is a story for any woman who has ever had concerns about removal of facial hair.
I’m sure you won’t believe this story, but please stay with me all the way through to the very end. I know you will be glad you did and it’s very likely that it has happened to you a time or two. Well, maybe something similar anyhow.
I woke up one morning and thought to myself, “What a glorious day this will be.”
I had such a great day planned with some really old friends and I was so looking forward to looking my best and showing off how well I had taken care of myself after all these years. I knew I was going to be receiving compliments from everyone because many people have often told me that I sure didn’t look my age.
Oh, I was so excited! We were going to have such a good time reminiscing about the good old days before and during our college years. I could remember so clearly all the fun we had and the tricks we had played on each other.
And sharing with each other about all the things in our lives that have occurred since we had parted many years earlier to go our separate ways was going to be the best part of all.
And the pictures we would show to each other, what fun that would be. I had spent so much time putting together an album of just the right photos to share with everyone.
It was time to get up and get moving. I had laid there long enough with these pleasant thoughts. Now it was time to get ready to go. The time was finally here. I just couldn’t believe how excited I was!
So, I got up and rubbed the sleep out of my eyes, when I felt something that I know wasn’t there the night before. It felt like several rough and long hairs on my face. I could feel them on my chin and even some on my cheeks and to my horror – They were absolutely covering my entire upper lip – It felt like a heavy mustache!!
I was panicked – What was I going to do?! How was I going to be able to come up with a way of removal for all of these facial hairs before seeing all of my women friends? I was meeting my friends in just one hour. I had prepared, planned – And now this!
It just couldn’t be happening to me. What! What was I going to do?! I had to think fast – There was no time to lose.
But wait a minute here … I hadn’t looked in the mirror yet.
Maybe I was just getting overly emotional. Maybe it wasn’t as bad as I thought. I would just go look in the mirror and find out I was just exaggerating and it wasn’t going to be so bad after all.
That’s it – I’ll go look in the mirror and find out it’s really going to be OK and I can get back to the excitement of the day.
But wait another minute … What if I’m wrong and it really is that bad?
Oh, I was so afraid to look. If I looked and it was really that bad, I’d just panic even more. What a dilemma I was in. The clock was ticking and I was running out of time. I had to do something and I had to do something right away.
That’s when the solution came to me.
I thought to myself, “I’ve got it! I’ll call and cancel, I’ll tell them I woke up with a bad stomachache. Why, it must be the flu and I sure don’t want to get everyone else sick. That’s it, I’ll do that. I’ll gracefully bow out and give my regrets and promise to make it next time and by then I’ll have this problem solved.”
I was reaching for the phone when it started ringing. When I went to pick it up, that’s when I realized it was my alarm ringing and I had been still sleeping!
It was a dream! I was saved! Just waking up and leaving that terrible nightmare behind instantly solved my problem. I was so relieved, I couldn’t contain myself. I started jumping up and down and even singing!!
