Do you have a good hair removal product that you are truly happy with?

I didn’t think so. In fact, why would you be reading this if you had already found the perfect hair removal product?

I know, I don’t like the options I have tried so far and I think I’m going to spend some time on a journey to check out the latest and greatest in hair removal products. And when I’m finished I’m going to record all of the details for you as well.

Doesn’t that sound like a great idea? I thought you’d agree. So here goes -

The first one I checked out is a product called sugaring

I’ve never tried sugaring as a hair removal product before so I decided to read the instructions carefully before I considered trying it out.

As I read the label and directions it said it’s a syrup made from sugar, lemon juice and warm water. You first mix the syrup into a pasty substance and then spread it on the skin where you want to remove the hair and immediately pull it off so you can pull all of the hairs out by the roots. Yuck!! Ouch! And OUCH!!

Sounds awfully painful to me and very similar to waxing except you don’t need to use linen strips. Of course it also sounds like a sticky mess and time consuming as well.

I’ve tried waxing before and that’s too painful for me even with the topical pain relievers they recommend you use an hour before applying the wax, or in this case, the sugaring substance.

There is also redness and irritation to the skin that can last for a couple of days after the treatments so I don’t think I would want to use it on an area larger then my EYEBROWS if you know what I mean.

I think I’ll pass on this one and waxing as well.

Okay, so sugaring and waxing are scratched off of my list of options. Let’s move on -

Next, I looked into depilatory or hair removal creams

You know those chemical solutions that are supposed to melt the hairs right off and all you have to do is wipe them off with the hair removal cream after a few minutes – What could possibly be easier than that?

This sounded like such a terrific and simple option to me so I was really excited about checking this one out for myself as soon as possible. But I decided to read up on it before getting too carried away.

I was really disappointed as I looked into these products and changed my mind quickly about using them when I found out how harsh the chemicals in these creams are. And since I have sensitive skin even on my tougher areas like legs and armpits I decided this option was out of the realm of possibility for me and besides they had other drawbacks as well.

They have a terrible odor that lingers for quite some time. (Another Yuck)

They also only remove the hair above the skin so you would need to repeat the procedure everyday or two just like shaving in order to remain hair free. That would make them quite time consuming, messy and expensive as well.

(Shaving doesn’t sound so bad after all. In fact shaving is starting to sound better and better all the time.)

Gosh I was sure disappointed about this one. I had such high hopes for hair removal creams as my next perfect solution for hair removal. Oh well, on to the next product.

There has to be a better product out there than depilatory creams for hair removal, don’t you think?

While I was looking for the next latest and greatest hair removal product on my list that was getting shorter and shorter by the minute, a woman who had been watching me scouring the hair removal shelves told me she had information about the ultimate in hair removal products – A personal shaver. She said I could check them out for myself online.

It sounded too good to be true, but I ran home and checked it out right away.

Now I’m here to tell you that you should get online and check out the latest and greatest in personal shavers for yourself as soon as possible. I’m sure you too will agree that they are definitely one of the greatest hair removal products ever.
